Oh love what you did with these they are so cute! So nice to know that you can make your own tear bears now and not have to buy them to make Thanks for the great ideas!
Paula's Plucker is available at Peachy Keen Stamps just click on the bear above and check it out!!
Directions on how to fluff your Mulberry paper with Paula's Plucker
*Pick a tear bear pattern from the internet or use a die cut* ~~~If using a pattern from the internet, print the pattern out and place it on the mulberry paper (place the rough side of mulberry paper down) then take a pencil or stylus and trace over each image(you are trying to make a good impression on the mulberry paper, this makes it easier when taring) then you take a small paint brush and trace the design on the mulberry paper with water (you want to be able to see the water all the way through to the other side) then you place your thumb in the center of the paper and pull away from the image (do this for each piece) ~~If you choose to use a die cut just put the mulberry paper rough side down when you cut it
***After following the directions for either method above the rest of the directions are the same for both, as seen below***
~*~Flip the paper over (rough side now facing up) ~*~Wet the entire image (just enough to soak through to the other side) ~*~Use the "Plucker" and start from the outer edge and work your way across to the other side of the piece (do this for all the pieces) **WHEN USING THE PLUCKER, YOU JUST LIGHTLY LIFT THE LAYERS OF THE MULBERRY PAPER, UNTIL YOU GET YOUR DESIRED LOOK** ~*~Allow to dry (this takes a awhile so I like to use my heat gun for a few seconds and then I can finish the piece) ~*~After all the pieces are dry you can chalk or ink around the pieces before glueing them together or just leave them as is.
